The GroupFit Training Program at New Jersey Sports Advantage is a variety of high intensity training sessions that combine bodyweight movements, circuit training, interval training.  These workouts are fun, intense, challenging, and affordable for any budget.  What separates our GroupFit Training Program at NJSA from other programs in the area is the staff and the environment.  Our knowledgable and friendly staff makes sure you are receiving the best workout possible. We also offer over 5,000 sq feet of space to accomodate the needs of every client.

Workout programs are designed to burn fat, increase metabolism, having fun with friends, friendly competition, with intense workouts using bodyweight plus a variety of equipment available in our state of the art training facility.

Program Structure:

Each new member to our GroupFit Training Program receives a complimentary consultation and assessment to determine your fitness level to ensure each workout meets your specific needs.

All GroupFit Training sessions are 60 minutes in length.

Class Descriptions:

Combat Camp:

Combat Camp is a new style of GroupFit class at NJSA that utilizes boxing, kickboxing and wrestling drills to create an intense fat loss workout program that is guaranteed to make you sweat. This class is designed for intermediate to advanced fitness levels, and the timed intervals allow you to push at your own pace. 

Conditioning Class:

The NJSA Conditioning group program gives you a unique total body workout that combines body weight training, boxing and kickboxing techniques. This style of workout is an excellent complement to either our Total Body program or the Metabolic Program. You will experience high intensity cardio intervals using your own bodyweight. This style of workout is great for intermediate to advanced levels looking to kick start their fat loss program and  looking for a change in their workouts. Recommended 1-2 times per week between strength training days.

Metabolic Class:

You don’t see rows of cardio equipment, like you do at most gyms, at NJSA. We use a much more effective (and a lot more fun) way to do “cardio”. Our metabolic group sessions are our version of a cardio workout. They burn calories, get your metabolism revving and give you the cardiovascular benefits you are looking for. Interval cardio training has been shown in the research to be the most effective for fat loss. We’ve taken it up a notch and incorporated exercises in multiple planes of motion, using all kinds of equipment such as TRX’s, kettlebells, medicine balls, specialized bikes and more into an interval style workout. You’ll have a blast and you’ll torch fat! In addition to your 1-3 Total Body/Strength workouts add a Metabolic group session in 1-3 times a week.

Total Body Class:

Total Body group sessions are structured to take the place of a full body strength workout. These types of workouts are our #1 priority for our beginner clients to burn calories and build lean body mass to boost your metabolism for the long term. These group sessions are set up in sets of exercises for specific repetitions. You’ll use weights that are challenging for the set repetitions. Everyone can go at their own pace, but each week push yourself to lift a little more than you did the week before.

GroupFit Training Membership Program:

The NJSA GroupFit Training Membership Program is our newest program.  All members of our GroupFit Training Program have unlimited access to our scheduled group training classes.  Unlimited means you can take as many of our group training classes each month for one low monthly rate.

Membership Benefits:

  • No need to sign up in advance for a class.  As a GroupFit Training Member you are guaranteed access to any and all of our group fitness classes offered on our monthly schedule.
  • Low monthly fee and varied payment options for group training.
  • No guessing about how much it will cost this month to exercise.  We understand that working with a personal trainer can be expensive.  We believe you can get a high quality training experience with a certified personal trainer for a fraction of the price of personal training.
  • All workouts are planned, programmed, and run by certified personal trainers.  No need to guess about a good workout for the day.  No wasted time at the gym. All workouts can be tailored to meet your specific needs and goals.

If you are not ready to make a monthly commitment, we understand.  We offer package options for our Group Training Program.

BASIC MEMBERSHIP:

12 Months Unlimited – $99 (per month) + Tax

3 Months Unlimited – $129 (per month) + Tax

 

PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP: 

(Premium Membership is offered to active NJSA clients enrolled in our Reformer Pilates and/or Personal Training Programs)

12 Months Unlimited – $69 (per month) + Tax

3 Months Unlimited – $89 (per month) + Tax

All Memberships Include:

  • Unlimited access to ALL GroupFit Training classes
  • Open access to NJSA cardio area
  • Blueprint consultation with Fitness Evaluation + monthly follow -up consultation to ensure you are meeting your fitness goals.

 **Membership rate is guaranteed not to change for the term of the membership agreement.  Membership will automatically expire at the end of the term agreement.  If member renews membership prior to expiration price will not be subject to change.  Member can cancel membership at any time without penalty.**
